​WindTAK Sp. z o.o. is a Polish company based in Łódź, specializing in innovative solutions for wind engineering. Among its key products are turbulence generators (turbulators) manufactured using additive technologies, which can increase a wind turbine’s annual output by up to 5%. WindTAK also offers 5GVG technology – a system for full monitoring of turbine condition that enables significant reductions in operational costs.
The main goal of the project, carried out in close collaboration with the client’s team, was to develop an innovative solution that would maintain or improve the product’s performance and functionality without infringing on patented technologies. The project involved a comprehensive analysis of existing market solutions, identification of critical patent-protected components used by competitors, and the development of alternative turbulator designs.
