Dr. Sergey Yatsunenko

Founder, owner, and leader of Arsnovo - the driving force behind the team.
A PhD physicist who combines analytical thinking with a passion for innovation and technology. An expert in intellectual property and patent strategy. He currently serves as President and Board Member of MATRIZ.
Author of five patents, 58 scientific and popular science publications, and co-author of four books. A graduate of Dnipro National University, he earned his PhD at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2005. As a physicist, he conducted research on the optical properties of nanoparticles and quantum dots, as well as on microwave and terahertz systems for applications in medicine, biology, and advanced measurement and research systems. He is also a certified expert in surface metrology using confocal microscopy.
His passion for innovation goes beyond day-to-day business. He actively supports the growth of the innovation ecosystem - not only by building strong client relationships, but also by mentoring startups and sharing his expertise with the next generation of innovators.

A long-standing collaborator and Arsnovo’s lead mentor, involved with the company since its founding. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading consultants in technological innovation.
An Associate Professor at MIT (Cambridge, USA), Tufts University (Boston, MA), and Tongji University (Intellectual Property College, Shanghai, China), and an Honorary Professor at the University of Edinburgh (UK). He has delivered TRIZ seminars at Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Caltech, and many other top academic institutions around the globe. A TRIZ Master and Chair of the Council on Expertise and Methodology (CEM) at MATRIZ.
He is the author of over 100 publications, holder of 134 international patents, and co-author of five books. He is also the creator of the DFP (Design for Patentability) methodology.
Over the course of his career, he has conducted more than 1,000 innovation and TRIZ training programs for Fortune 500 companies worldwide. As a lead trainer, he has implemented corporate TRIZ education programs at Procter & Gamble (training approx. 1,500 engineers in three years), Mitsubishi Research Institute (300 engineers), Samsung (900 engineers), and Intel (500 participants). For the past 10 years, he has served as the chief innovation instructor for the Siemens Innovation Academy and General Electric Global Research (over 1,800 scientists trained), and for 11 years has led the TRIZ Innovation Initiative at Hyundai Motor Company (over 500 participants). He also works with major Chinese companies including Shenhua, Huawei, and VIVO.
He supports Arsnovo with his extensive knowledge and international reputation, providing invaluable expertise that strengthens our innovation capabilities.

Anatolii Iatsunenko

Part of Arsnovo since the company’s founding, he is the lead implementer of the concepts developed by the team.
A graduate of Dnipro National University and the Moscow Institute of Technical Creativity and Patents.
Previously served as Chief Engineer at the National Space Agency of Ukraine and the Institute of Technical Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, where he also headed the Department of Metrology. Since 2017, he has been based in Warsaw, where he leads the Arsnovo laboratory. He is a specialist in the production and testing of composite materials, microwave physics, solid-state physics, and biophysical measurement. He has participated in numerous projects involving the development of microwave components, precision measurement systems, satellite communication technologies, and automated control systems. Author or co-author of 116 publications, 3 monographs, and 48 patents.
He combines deep scientific knowledge with a unique ability to translate abstract concepts into concrete, functional solutions. His pragmatic approach plays a key role in project execution. Thanks to his creativity and determination, he brings even the most demanding ideas to life.

With Arsnovo for over five years.
A certified TRIZ (Level 3) and DFP (Level 3) expert, she applies her knowledge and skills not only in R&D projects but also in creating educational materials and popular science articles. Co-author of four textbooks on TRIZ and DFP.
She serves as Scientific Secretary for both MATRIZ and the DFP Institute.
By training, she is a designer - a graduate of the Faculty of Fashion Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. From 1998 to 2020, she worked in the manufacturing industry as a designer and technologist. She is also an experienced trainer. For many years, she worked as a chief technologist and specialist in implementing CNC cutting lines and CAD systems for automatic fabric cutting. She also lectured on fabric cutting technologies in the furniture industry at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Poznań University of Life Sciences.
At Arsnovo, she leads and coordinates the analytical team and actively contributes to project work on a daily basis.

Elvira Kozlenko

With Arsnovo since the very beginning.
A chemist and technologist by education, she is one of the leading experts in electroforming and electroplated assembly. Throughout her career, she has co-developed technologies for high-frequency active components (e.g., Gunn oscillators) as well as electroforming techniques for passive microwave elements. She brings over 40 years of experience in the development of microwave equipment, custom microwave measurement systems, and medical microwave systems for diagnostics and treatment.
For 35 years, she led projects focused on the use of electromagnetic waves in diagnostics and therapy - from fundamental research to the design and development of complete devices.
Co-author of 70 publications, 3 monographs, and 16 patents.
At Arsnovo, her invaluable experience is one of the core strengths of the laboratory team.

TECHNOLOGY & MARKET ANALYSIS EXPERT

Assistant Professor at the Institute of Economics and Finance, Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, University of Zielona Gora. Certified TRIZ expert (Level 3).
Her academic work centers on innovation in the broadest sense. Her research focuses on the determinants of innovation activity within regional and national innovation systems, with particular emphasis on supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. As part of her teaching responsibilities, she leads a TRIZ methodology course in the Management program at the Faculty of Law and Economics, University of Zielona Gora.
She is the author or co-author of nearly 50 scientific publications, including two chapters in the two-part monograph "Innovation as the Future of Economic Development," published in 2017 by IVG Scientific Publishing. She has received the Rector’s Award of the University of Zielona Gora twice for scientific achievement, as well as a Rector’s Research Grant Scholarship.
She combines strong academic knowledge with hands-on R&D experience. Since early 2024, she has been part of the Arsnovo team. Her expertise includes system analysis and the acquisition and interpretation of market, patent, and scientific data.

Dr. Marta Moczulska
Associate Professor

Professor at the University of Zielona Gora and Head of the Department of Organizational Social Potential Management. Certified TRIZ expert (Level 3).
Her main area of academic interest focuses on employee participation in organizational management and the social dimensions of how organizations operate. She places particular emphasis on employee engagement, change management, and coopetition within organizations. As part of her teaching activities, she conducts courses on project team development, during which students carry out real-world projects.
She is the author or co-author of nearly 70 scientific articles and two monographs. She has received the Rector’s Award from the University of Zielona Gora for both individual and team research achievements.
An experienced team member, she has been with Arsnovo since early 2024. Her strengths lie in system analysis and in acquiring and interpreting market, patent, and scientific data.

PROCESS OPTIMIZATION EXPERT

Graduate of postgraduate management studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), with an earlier background in social rehabilitation.
A passionate advocate for production process improvement across metal, composite, furniture, and FMCG industries. For nearly 14 years, he has worked in the Polish industrial sector as a manager and coordinator, specializing in process optimization through the practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools - including Kaizen, 5S, TPM, SMED, and VSM - in both production and office environments.
He also implements best practices drawn from Green Lean, Zero Waste, Adizes, TOC, and TRIZ methodologies (Level 2 certified by MATRIZ), tailoring them to each organization’s level of development.
An experienced trainer, he has worked as an independent consultant for external companies since 2013.He has been part of Arsnovo since early 2022, focusing primarily on process analysis and optimization. His strong results-oriented approach helps translate theoretical solutions into measurable, real-world improvements.

Prof. Urszula Narkiewicz
DSc, Eng.

Full Professor (Professor Emeritus as of 2024) at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. A graduate of the French postgraduate program in Industrial Systems Management (Mastère diploma certified by five French Grandes Écoles). Her research experience spans both Poland and abroad - including France and Belgium.
Throughout her scientific career, she has held numerous prestigious roles, including: member of the Nanomaterials Section of the Polish Academy of Sciences Committee on Materials Science, board member of the Polish Society for Materials Research, member of the Council of the NANONET Foundation for the Advancement of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Polish national expert in the COOPERATION-NMP Program Committee of FP7, project technical advisor for FP7, member of the Technical Committee on Nanotechnology of the Polish Committee for Standardization, representative of Poland in the International Independent Expert Group for Scientific Project Evaluation in NATO’s Science for Peace and Security program, member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), Technical and Environmental Sciences section.
She is the author of approximately 200 publications in JCR-listed journals and the recipient of numerous awards, including the Polish Minister of National Education Award, 17 annual awards for scientific achievement from the Rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, the IAAM Medal (International Association of Advanced Materials), and others.
She has served as coordinator and principal investigator of many national and international research projects. Since 2024, she has supported Arsnovo as a scientific consultant, providing expert guidance for chemistry-related projects.

CHIEF SCIENTIFIC CONSULTANT FOR PHYSICS

Director of the Technology Transfer Center at the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw), and an active member of several national and international scientific societies. He is the former President of the Polish Vacuum Society, Board Member of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS), and Poland’s representative on the Executive Council of IUVSTA.
He was the first to introduce several advanced technologies in Poland, including optically detected magnetic resonance, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and a new microwave-as
sisted hydrothermal synthesis technique. His current research focuses on oxide nanostructures for applications in nanoelectronics, solar cells, gas and UV sensors, early cancer detection, MRI imaging, antibacterial coatings, wound healing, and medical implant surfaces.
He has served as principal investigator or lead researcher in numerous national (KBN, NCN, NCBiR) and international (EU-funded) research projects. He led the IFPAN team in the large-scale NanoBiom program, which developed new technologies and diagnostic tools for molecular medicine and environmental protection — including ultra-sensitive nanosensors. He was also project leader in the prestigious MAESTRO program and in two TechMatStrateg initiatives.
He is the author or co-author of over 600 scientific publications (H-index: 49), 37 Polish patents, 8 international patents, and approximately 15 additional Polish patent applications. He has supported Arsnovo as a scientific consultant since the company’s founding.
